Country Attribute Organizer

This term, for literacy, we have been learning about 'Choice' Country's. There were a bunch of activities and if you want to check them out then click HERE. One of my favorite activities was the Country Attributes. I had to get the attributes for every Continent: Africa, Oceania, South America, North America, Asia, Europe and Antarctica. This was quite fun and I did very well on it!
In this activity, I needed to do was research some facts about each Continent, the facts were: 3 Countries in that Continent, 1 Ocean that bordered it, 1 Mountain in it and 3 interesting facts about it! Next time I think I should try find a few more things and try push myself!

Strange Animal Attributes

 Strange Animal Attributes

This term, for literacy, we have been learning about strange and wonderful animals. There were a bunch of activities and if you want to check them out then click HERE. One of my favorite activities was the Strange Animal Attributes. The animals we had to do were: Naked Mole Rat, Goblin Shark and the Shoebill, we also got to chose 2 of our own animals, I chose the Blobfish and the Tardigrade. I also had some help with this, my friend Charlie and I did it together. Charlie’s Blog!

In this activity, I needed to do was research what some strange animals : Ate, were in the world they are found, what there habitat is like and 3 interesting facts about them. Next time I think I need to do a bit better at using notes rather than short sentences. I think I did well on the facts I got for each animal. In this activity I learnt that some animals have the WEIRDEST talents!

The Completely, Insane, Illegal Circus

Hi, this term for literacy we have been learning about strange and wonderful animals. So far I have really enjoyed doing this theme and am excited to keep doing this theme. If you want to see some of the task we can chose from then click HERE! I really liked making this because it was fun researching all these different animals and find out things they can do. The animals are : John, a Snake (can't remember the type), Sky & Craig, a type of parrot, Sam, Cam & Bob are dolphins and lastly, Babba is a Tardigrade, a super strong, tiny creature  this is my poster about a circus that is just a little bit illegal, I hope you like it and it was really fun to make. I think I did really well on how I made it look and how much it looked like a circus poster. Next time I think I could add a few more things about my circus like: 'Popcorn For $2' or 'Buy One Ticket Get One Half Price'. I learnt that posters for anything for a little 50 person show to a 5000 person concert have to be short and sweet! Here is the poster! Please leave me some feedback in the comments!

Fake News

This is a poster about how to spot fake news. This took quite a while so I hope you like it. This is for our literacy topic at Parkview Parua school which is Gaming, so far this is my favorite topic. Next time I should try making it more detailed by using cooler and better fonts, I could also try added in pictures. I think I did good in added in enough detail with the six facts.   

Coping With Stress Brochure

This is a slide show about how to cope with stress. It was a really fun slide to make and I really like it. I think I could improve by making it look a bit nicer. I think I did really well on organizing everything. I am looking forward to doing more things like this in the future!

Diagram Of The Brain

This is a blog post about the brain, it was a pretty interesting and I learnt quit a bit from it. Next time I think I should try challenge myself and do one with more things I need to label. I think I did really well at doing the right research to find this information. I hope you like it and comment some feedback for me. Thanks.

  

Teamwork Poster

This is a poster about teamwork. It took me a while and I think it's one of my better work pieces for this term! I honestly don't think that there is much I can improve on but next time I would try use some cooler fonts and backgrounds. I think I did really well on the way I organised it! I really hope you like it. I will keep poster my work!  

Team New Zealand America's Cup Timeline

Hi, my name is Nate and I am a year 7. This is a timeline about how Team New Zealand has changed over the years of the America's Cup. This took quite a while so I hope you like it. This is for our literacy topic at Parkview Parua school which is American Cup. Next time I recon I should try make it like an actual timeline using pictures, quick facts and a line. I think I did good in the amount of information I manged to get on each slide. I hope you like it.

Info-graphic Poster

Hi, my name is Nate and this is my first blog post in a while so I am now a year 7. This is an Info-graphic poster about how fast the American Cup boats can go. The first one is American Magic, the second one is Team New Zealand and the last one is Team UK. This is for our literacy topic at Parkview Parua school which is American Cup. Next time I do this I think I'll try make it on something I can put more detail in. In my opinion I think I did go in they way I organised the knots, the boats and there names. into I hope you like it.
